Segun Ayinde, Abeokuta Police in Ogun State have discovered an unidentified lifeless body of a member of the Aiye confraternity, popularly called ‘Mosquito’, along Ijagun Road, Ijebu-Ode. Mosquito’s hand was severed by the rival cult group before they absconded with it. The victims corpse was discovered following the information received by the police over a cult clash in the area for supremacy battle. The Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, on Monday, said the police are on the trial of a man who was actively involved in the Sudan crisis but is now in Nigeria. Egbetokun, although he did not disclose his name, said the suspect was mobilising to destabilise the country. Police in Taraba have confirmed that a lecturer at the Federal University Wukari and deputy registrar of Taraba State School of Health Technology, Takum were among the passengers killed by gunmen along Takum-Wukari road early Monday morning. Ewi of Ado Ekiti, Oba Rufus Adejugbe, on Monday, outlawed the various traders’ associations in markets in Ado Ekiti, the Ekiti State capital, with the intention to stop their undue control of prices and give farmers direct access to traders. The 20 buses were said to be the first batch produced locally by Innoson Motors.
