Suspected gunmen have kidnapped Anambra State Commissioner for Youths Development, Patrick Aghamba, and his wife while on their way to Abuja.
It was however gathered that the commissioner’s aide, whose name was given as ABK Offiah was gunned down by the assailants during the operation.
The commissioner, his wife and aide were said to be travelling to Abuja to attend the wedding of the daughter of the Governor Chukwuma Soludo, Adaora, scheduled for tomorrow (Saturday) in Abuja when the incident occurred.
Anambra State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Tochukwu Ikenga, had yet to make any statement on the incident as of the time of filing this report.
