Bauchi State Governor, Senator Bala Mohammed, has congratulated Dr. Dame Patience Jonathan, wife of former President Goodluck Jonathan, on her conferment of a Doctorate Degree in Educational Psychology, Guidance, and Counselling by the prestigious University of Education, Port Harcourt.
In a statement issued by his media aide, Mukhtar Gidado, on Sunday, Governor Mohammed extended his warm congratulations on behalf of his family, the Bauchi State Government, and the peace-loving people of the state.
He described the honour bestowed on Dr. Jonathan as “well-deserved,” noting that it is a resounding recognition of her lifelong dedication to education, service to humanity, and her passionate advocacy for the welfare of women and children across Nigeria.
“This remarkable achievement is not just a personal milestone but a national celebration. It reflects your unrelenting pursuit of knowledge and your contributions to building a more informed, just, and inclusive society,” Mohammed said.
Governor Mohammed praised Dr. Jonathan’s humility, compassion, and unwavering patriotism, noting that her exemplary character continues to inspire generations of Nigerians.
He also prayed that the Almighty continues to bless her and her family with good health, strength, and wisdom as they remain committed to the service of Nigeria and humanity.
