Kogi State Government says its committed to ensuring those behind the killings of two abducted students of the Confluence University of Science and Technology, Osara, are apprehended and appropriately punished. Lagos Emergency Management Agency, on Sunday, confirmed the rescue of five persons and the recovery of one dead body from a collapsed mosque at Papa Ajao, Mushin, Lagos. LASEMA Permanent Secretary, Dr Femi Oke-Osanyintolu, disclosed this in a statement in Lagos. The incident had occurred on Sunday during afternoon prayers. A train conveying passengers from Kaduna State to Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory, on Sunday, derailed at Jere, a Kaduna suburb. The train carrying dozens of passengers departed Kaduna around 8:05 a.m. It, however, derailed at Jere about an hour later.
