Police in Imo have demoted Inspector Isong Osudueh caught on camera collecting bribes from motorists along the Owerri-Onitsha express road. State Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Henry Okoye, disclosed this in a statement on X on Monday. An angry mob suspected to be thugs loyal to the National Chairman of the Labour Party, Julius Abure, on Monday attacked protesters, said to have come from the Edo State chapter to the party’s Abuja national secretariat to demand Abure’s removal.
