…as over 2,000 stakeholders from 10 wards converge on Community High School, Iwoye-Ketu
The Ogun Prosperity Movement, a group mobilising for the success of the All Progressives Congress (APC), is set to host a landmark political gathering tagged the Imeko-Afon Mega Rally, on Thursday, October 1st, 2026 at the Community High School, Iwoye-Ketu, Imeko Afon Local Government Area, by 10:00am.

The rally is expected to bring together about 2,000 party faithful and community leaders across the ten wards of Imeko-Afon LGA in a massive show of unity and support ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The event will also feature the official presentation and address by the party’s key candidates, including those for Governorship, Senate, House of Representatives, and House of Assembly for Ogun West zone. They will outline the movement’s vision for inclusive development, grassroots empowerment, and prosperity for the people of Ogun West and Ogun State at large.
Speaking on the significance of the rally, the Convener of the Ogun Prosperity Movement, Hon. Albert Asipa, said, “Imeko-Afon Local Government has enormous potential. This Mega Rally is not just a gathering, it is a declaration that the people are ready for purposeful leadership, development, and prosperity.
“We are mobilising across all 10 wards to send a clear message that Ogun Prosperity Movement is committed to delivering real dividends of democracy to every community.”
The Ogun Prosperity Movement is a grassroots political platform dedicated to advancing good governance, economic growth, and unity across Ogun State through people-centered policies and strong community engagement in support of Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola (YAYI).
The statement added that members of the press, party stakeholders and residents are invited to attend the rally.
“Security and logistics arrangements have been put in place to ensure a peaceful and orderly event,” it further stated.
