The excitement surrounding the inauguration of the All Progressives Congress (APC) 2027 General Election Campaign Council for Abeokuta South Federal and State Constituencies continued at the White House, Amolaso, Abeokuta, where supporters of the AK Amosun Political Movement gathered to celebrate Hon. Akeem Amosun’s new assignment.

The gathering, which followed the inauguration ceremony at Centenary Hall, Ake, Abeokuta, was marked by songs, cheers, and expressions of appreciation from members of the movement, who turned out to identify with Hon. Akeem Akintayo Amosun, recently inaugurated as Deputy Director General of the Abeokuta South APC Campaign Council.
The supporters, popularly associated with the AK City movement, created an atmosphere of celebration as they sang and offered praises in honour of the political figure. Their gathering reflected the enthusiasm of members following his emergence into the campaign council’s leadership structure.
Addressing the gathering, Hon. Amosun expressed appreciation to members and supporters for their continued support, acknowledging their commitment and presence. He thanked everyone who had stood by him and encouraged them not to take their collective efforts for granted.
He also advised members to remain steadfast, committed, and focused, stressing the importance of consistency and dedication in their political engagement. His message served as a call for discipline, unity, and continued participation as political activities gathered momentum ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The gathering at White House provided an opportunity for members to reconnect after the campaign council’s inauguration and reaffirmed their support for the movement.
It also highlighted the role of local political groups in maintaining communication, solidarity, and a sense of belonging among their members.
For the AK Amosun Political Movement, the occasion was more than a celebration of an appointment, it was also an opportunity to acknowledge the support that has accompanied Hon. Amosun’s political engagements and encouraging members to sustain their commitment.
As the road to 2027 unfolds, the emphasis on steadfastness and collective responsibility remains significant. Whether such enthusiasm translated into sustained organisational activity will depend on the movement’s ability to maintain unity, engage its members, and remain active beyond celebratory gatherings.
At White House, Amolaso, the message was clear: appreciation for the support received, encouragement to remain steadfast, and a call for members to sustain their commitment as the political season progresses.
