…months after joining coalition party
Former Senator, who represented the Adamawa Central in the 8th National Assembly, Abdulaziz Nyako, has dumped the African Democratic Congress, ADC.
Nyako, who announced his decision on Sunday, has already joined the ruling All Progressives Congress.
The former lawmaker, who is popularly known as Commander, dumped the ADC months after joining due to factions in the Adamawa State chapter.
Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Fintiri, while addressing newsmen, said after taking control of the ruling party in the state, it was necessary to bring leaders like Nyako on board.
The governor confirmed that the lawmaker is now a card-carrying member of the APC.
