Chelsea manager, Xabi Alonso has hailed three of his attacking players following his side’s Premier League 3-2 win against Fulham on Monday.
Three goals from Joao Pedro, Cole Palmer and Morgan Rogers gave the Blues an away victory against Fulham.
Speaking after the game, Alonso heaped praises on Pedro, Palmer and Rogers for creating chances during the encounter against the hosts.
“Today, I am happy that all three scored. I really enjoyed his [Cole Palmer] performance,” Alonso told Sky Sports.
“He played with responsibility and maturity, but also with freedom. The three strikers were combining well and creating chances,” he added.
The result of the Fulham match means Chelsea now sit in sixth position on the Premier League table with three points after one match.
Chelsea’s next fixture is against Luton Town in the EFL Cup on Thursday.
