Barcelona manager, Hansi Flick, is keen to sign Real Madrid target Finn Jeltsch from Stuttgart in the January transfer window.
According to Diario SPORT, Flick has identified Jeltsch as his preferred target and will have to battle Real Madrid for the defender’s signature.
Flick wants to bolster his central defence options following Andreas Christensen’s injury.
Also, Gerard Martin’s performances have fallen compared to last season, while Eric Garcia and Jules Kounde picked up injuries against Real Betis.
Jeltsch is said to be valued at around €50 million by Stuttgart and it is yet to be seen if Barcelona will end up signing the German.
The 20-year-old, who earned a call-up to the Germany national team in September, is seen as one of the rising stars of German football.
