Chelsea boss, Enzo Maresca has confirmed that four key players will miss his side’s Premier League clash with Crystal Palace on Saturday.
According to Maresca, the players are Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, Wesley Fofana, Benoit Badiashile and Romeo Lavia.
Dewsbury-Hall, Fofana and Badiashile are still recovering from injury, while Lavia is working with the team in a bid to get full match fitness and could make his return to soon.
Speaking at his pre-match press conference on Friday, Maresca said: “Romeo is very close and he has started to work with us. We all consider Romeo a top player, but the most important thing for this type of player is to be fit.
“There is no doubt when Romeo is fit he is a top player, we need to just understand how we can help him to not get injured.”
He added, “Kiernan is still out. Unfortunately, Wes will be out for a very long time and Benoit will be out at least until February.”
Chelsea head to the game following a 2-0 defeat to Ipswich Town in their last match.
