Chief Whip of the Bayelsa State House of Assembly, Hon. Gabriel Ogbara has for the upteenth time received endorsement from critical stakeholders of his Party, the All Progressives Congress(APC) from his constituency.

Ogbara, an incumbent second termer is the member representing Ogbia Constituency three in the Bayelsa State House of Assembly and candidate of the APC for the constituency in the 2027 polls.
Speaking with newsmen in their various political enclaves, stakeholders, including the Party’s ward Chairmen in the constituency stated that the lawmaker deserves a third term due to his trajectory of purposeful leadership.
Ogbia Constituency three comprises 12 major communities delineated into four wards: six, seven, eight and nine.
Leading the call for support for the Assembly member’s third term bid, former House of Assembly aspirant, Dr. Kari Michael Priesthood Esq, noted that the lawmaker has executed impactful projects in several communities of the constituency and therefore deserves reelection to enable him touch more lives.
Priesthood who also described Ogbara as a silent achiever said the APC leaders and the candidate’s support base would continue to mobilize constituents to ensure victory for the lawmaker at the forthcoming polls.
“Hon. Gabriel Ogbara has done well for the people of Ogbia Constituency three. His first tenure was riddled by court cases, and considering the time he was sworn-in due to the delays occasioned by the courts, he never really had the opportunity to do much for the constituency as expected.
“But in this his second term he has done well. For instance, in Amorokeni community, ward nine where there was no befitting town hall, today there’s one beautiful one built and ready for use, courtesy of Hon. Ogbara.
“In Kolo Federated communities, ward nine, he has also executed a gigantic pavilion project and still counting. Go to Emeyal two community, Otuegwe two, Elebele and other communities, and you’ll see things for yourself.
“The Assembly seat isn’t as rosy as people may think, but Ogbara has promised to reach out to those remaining communities of the constituency that he hasn’t executed projects.
“This is not to say he has not been reaching out to constituents from those communities. And of course he has been doing well for the constituents”, he said.
Earlier, in their separate remarks during a tour of projects executed by the lawmaker in the Constituency by a group, ”Media Executives for Accountability and Transparency(MEET)”, APC Chairmen of wards of the constituency, Mr Ada Franco Onapu, ward 6, Mr Nyanami Amigbam, ward 7, Mr Isaiah Joshua, ward 9, Mr Lonami Inedi, ward 8, as well as other stakeholders said the third term reelection bid of the candidate was assured.
They called on electorates to see light in the candidacy of Hon. Ogbara, describing him as the best man for the legislative seat with both experience and trajectory of performance.
“Our late father and mentor, Chief Melford Obienne Okilo advised us to follow the party at the centre. APC is the ruling party, and so candidates of the APC from the national through the State level are the ones we’ll vote for.
“Ogbara has shown capacity, and you’ve seen his projects across wards of the constituency. In all the wards he has executed projects. In all the wards he has influenced appointments for people so we want to advise our people across the constituency to vote for the APC, come 2027 for more democratic dividends”, the party Chairmen said.
