Troops of Operation Hadin Kai have discovered and safely detonated an improvised explosive device (IED) in Mairari town along the Gajiram axis of Borno State. Counter-security analyst Zagazola Makama posted on X that the device was detected at about 9 am on April 17 by an Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) and route-scanning team deployed from a Forward Operating Base in the area.
