Ben Ogbemudia, Abuja The immediate past deputy governor of Edo State, Comrade Philip Shaibu, says he has concluded plans to drag Edo State Commissioner for Communication and Orientation, Mr. Christopher Nehikhare,to court for going away with 22 vehicles belonging to the state government. The Commissioner had issued a publication that Shaibu took away 22 vehicles belonging to the Edo State Government. But in a chat with our reporter, Philip Shaibu said Nehikhare and Governor Godwin Obaseki are poor record keepers. “I will respond to them appropriately in the manner they will understand,” Shaibu said.

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced plans to introduce customised SIM cards for candidates during the 2025 UTME registration process. The Rivers State Independent Electoral Commission (RSIEC), has fixed Oct. 5 for the conduct of local government council elections in the state.
