Central Bank of Nigeria Governor, Olayemi Cardoso, on Friday, assured Nigerians of better days ahead, disclosing that the stock external reserves have increased to US$36.89 billion as of July 16, 2024. Federal Government, on Friday, slammed a $220 million fine on Meta for alleged data privacy breaches. Meta is the parent company of WhatsApp, Facebook, and Instagram. Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (FCCPC), in s statement on Friday, said the penalty is in accordance with the FCCPA 2018, and the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection (administrative penalties) Regulations 2020 (APR).
