A police sergeant, Linus Wadzani, who allegedly shot his father to death in the Tudu area of the Maduganari community behind the Borno State Police Command headquarters in Maiduguri, Borno State, has confessed his reasons for committing the murder. Wadzani allegedly shot his father multiple times with an AK-47 rifle following a heated argument between the two of them.
