Chairman of the Kano State Public Complaints and Anti-Corruption Commission, Muhuyi Magaji Rimingado, has revealed how civil servants assisted politicians in the state to siphon public funds to the tune of N18billion. Family of 21-year-old Ahmad Yusuf Muhammad, one of the tailors accused of mass-production of the Russian flag in Kano, has denied his involvement in the act for which the secret police arrested him. Polish government, on Saturday, said its seven nationals recently arrested by the Department of State Services in Kano during the hunger protest in the state were only taking photographs of the event. Six Spanish nationals were also arrested by the DSS during the protest. The Polish government, however, also denied that its arrested and detained citizens were found waving the Russian flag during the protest in Kano.
