The National Sports Commission, NSC, has promised the Super Falcons $5,000 for each goal scored during the group stage at the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations.

NSC chairman, Shehu Dikko made the promise during his visit to the Super Falcons’ Marriott Hotel base in Rabat, Morocco on Tuesday

The move is to motivate the defending champions towards a successful title defence.

The goal bonus is expected to be increased as the team progresses in the competition.

Justine Madugu’s side will begin their title defence against debutants Scorchers of Malawi tonight at the Al Madina Stadium, Rabat.

It will be the first-ever meeting between both countries at the senior international level.
