… outlines 12-point agenda to improve citizens’ standard of living

A United States-based Nigerian, Dr. Bolaji Odusina, has declared her intention to contest for governor on the platform of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in the 2027 general elections in Ogun State.

Odusina, who made the declaration yesterday at the party’s secretariat in Ijebu-Igbo, said that she decided to run for the number one seat to solve infrastructural challenges facing the people in the state.

She outlined a 12-point agenda including: quality education, accessible healthcare, clean water, upgraded hospitals, insurance for all, job creation, modern infrastructure, agricultural revolution, security, and transparent governance, improved power supply and road network.

The medical doctor explained that she was not in the race for monetary gains, but rather to introduce innovations that would ease the people’s daily struggle and challenges and improve their quality of life.

She said ” I am Dr. Bolaji Marie Odusina, fondly called Dee Doc, a proud daughter of this great state. I have come to formally declare my intention to contest the 2027 governorship election under the African Democratic Congress (ADC).”

“I come with a different approach, not as one seeking power for its own sake, but as a proven problem solver, innovator with clean hands and a clear record.
I am not here to play politics or enrich myself. I am here to serve. I represent a new order; a new face, a new voice, and ready to multiply our resources through transparent partnerships and deliver sustainable progress for every family in Ogun State.”

“I bring practical solutions through my 12-Point Agenda: quality education with free books and tech in every school; accessible healthcare with clean water, upgraded hospitals, and insurance for all; job creation that turns our youth into employers; modern infrastructure that works; agricultural revolution that feeds our people and creates wealth; security that protects every community; and transparent governance that puts you first.” She added.

Those who grace the event includes: Hon Adedeji Abiodun, Deputy State Chairman,who represented the State Chairman, Agbebiyi Olusoji,State Secretary, Chief Mrs Irede Ogini. State Woman leader, Chief Taiwo Akinlabi State Leader.

Others are: Bar Femi Aina. State Legal Adviser; Hon Z.O. Fayomi, Senatorial Chairman, Ogun west; Alhaji Adeleke Adesina, Chairman Ogun East Senatorial District; Hon Olaloye, Chairman Ogun Central Senatorial District; Mr Rasaq Adeniyi, Deputy State Organising Secretary and Mr Segun Egbeyemi, State youth leader.
