President Bola Tinubu, on Monday, held a closed doors meeting with the newly appointed Service Chiefs.
The meeting held at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
However, the agenda of the meeting could not be verified as of the time of filing this report.
But it was learnt that the agenda of the meeting might not be unconnected with ongoing efforts to strengthen the country’s security architecture.
Last week, the Presidency had described the appointment of the new Service Chiefs as a strategic move to enhance professionalism and efficiency within the Armed Forces.
Those who attended the meeting included Chief of Defence Staff, General Olufemi Oluyede; Chief of Army Staff, Major General Waidi Shaibu; the Chief of Air Staff, Air Vice Marshall Kennedy Aneke and Chief of Naval Staff, Rear Admiral Idi Abbas.
