…pledges continuous assistance to his family
Incumbent lawmaker representing Ogun West Senatorial District, who also doubles as the 2027 governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Senator Senator Solomon Adeola, popularly called Yayi, on Sunday,
expressed great sadness and regrets over the sudden death of Nollywood veteran actor, Mr. Taiwo Babatunde Hassan, aka ‘Ogogo’, following an illness.

Senator Yayi, in a condolence message to the family of the late popular actor, signed by his Media Adviser, High Chief Kayode Odunaro, described the untimely demise of Ogogo as a great loss to the creative and entertainment industry in Nigeria.
He added that Ogogo’s death at this time is an irreparable loss to his family, Ogun State and indeed, Nigeria.
“I am greatly saddened by the death of a brother who believed and worked assiduously for my cause and the cause of our people. I sympathise with his immediate family for their efforts and struggles to keep the dearly departed alive following his illness. God knows best in all circumstances,“ Senator Yayi said.
The APC governorship flagbearer said the late actor’s role in the drive for a better society through film making and other positive advocacy will always be remembered, adding that he left a legacy worthy of emulation.
He promised to continue to support Ogogo’s immediate family in their hour of need, stressing that the good deeds of the patriarch of the family to the society will not be forgotten.
Senator Adeola prayed for the peaceful repose of the soul of the popular Yoruba Nollywood thespian and fortitude for his immediate family to bear the irreparable loss of their departed father.
