…seeks massive votes for Tinubu, all APC candidates with promises of yearly town hall meetings, media chat

Following the praises he received from stakeholders and community leaders on the development he attracted to Ifo Local Government Area in Ogun Central as a Senator representing Ogun West, Senator Solomon Adeola, the All Progressives Congress (APC) gubernatorial candidate for Ogun State, has promised to do more as elected governor for the state under his 9-Pillars ITESIWAJU Programme.

The Senator made the pledge during his state wide tour at Ifo LGA with stakeholders of the LGA comprising Community Development Committee, CDC, Community Development Association ,CDA, Trade Unions, Artisan Groups, Baales, Royal fathers and others, stressing that Ifo LGA as a border LGA in Ogun State with Lagos is a priority for him in his border area development of infrastructure under the ITESIWAJU programme.

“As a Senator and Chairman of Senate Committee on Appropriations, I am aware of the large side of Ifo LGA in terms of population and its critical position in our development process. This is why I have embarked on at least 16 infrastructure projects in Ifo LGA covering roads, Classrooms, ultra- modern police stations, hospital buildings and solar power projects. As we are here, I just received a message of appreciation from High Chief Fatai Famuyiwa the BOT Chairman of the Alumni of Methodist High School, Arigbajo, Ifo, where I just facilitated the construction of a block of 12-classroom after a similar one at Community High School Ososun, Ifo LGA,” a statement by his Media Adviser and
Chairman, Media and Publicity Committee of Ogun State APC Campaign Council, Chief Kayode Odunaro, quoted Senator Adeola as saying.

He urged the stakeholders to vote massively for APC presidential candidate for his special delivery in favour of Ogun State in terms of the Lagos -Calabar Coastal Highway and Badagry- Sokoto Highway, which affects Ogun State positively as well as the approval of $7billion Deep Sea Port for Ogun State, stressing that the state Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun and himself as APC elected officials have delivered for the development of the state.

“I urge you all and your families to vote massively for all APC candidates to further consolidate the ongoing development to better the lives of our people and Nigerians. As your governor if elected by God’s grace and your votes, I will hold at least a yearly Town Hall meeting and media chat like this to give accounts of progress. I will not disappoint you as I have demonstrated that I am for your development,” he stated.

Earlier on Alhaji Akangbe Bashiru, the Chairman of Ifo Zonal Community Development Committee, comprising 1010 CDCs and 98 CDAs, commended the Senator for all his projects in Ifo LGA he is not representing stressing that this is enough demonstration of his ability to do more as a governor when elected.

“We are grateful for our roads you constructed, the schools and erosion control projects. You did this on your own without us asking. We are very grateful and ask you to do more for us in other areas of needs,” he stated.

Other speakers, including royal fathers and Baales also echoed similar sentiments with a promise to vote massively for him and all APC candidates.

The event was attended by the Deputy Governor of Ogun State, Engr. Noimot Salako-Oyedele; Chief(Mrs) Temitope Adeola, the wife of the Senator; Chief Yemi Sanusi, APC state Chairman; Senator Shuaib Afolabi Salisu(APC, Ogun Central); Alhaja Kudirat Abiodun Balogun, the APC deputy governorship candidate; Hon. Sikirulai Ogundele, former State Chairman of PDP; Chief Derin Adebiyi, former State Chairman of APC; the Olofin of Isheri, Oba(Engr) Sulaiman Bamgbade and some APC candidates from Ogun Central Senatorial District.
