…backs Senator Yayi’s guber ambition
An aspirant contesting on the platform of All Progressive Congress in Ogun State, Abayomi Hunye, has congratulated the Senator representing Ogun West Senatorial District, Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, over his endorsement by the leadership of the party as the consensus governorship candidate for 2027 elections in the state.
Recall that Governor Dapo Abiodun at the APC Strategic Caucus Meeting held at the party’s Secretariat in Abeokuta, said the party leaders and stakeholders unanimously declared Adeola as the governorship flagbearer of the party.
However, in a swift reaction, Hunye declared support for Adeola, congratulating him on his emergence as the consensus candidate of our party.
He said, “ I extend my congratulations to him and wish him the very best. I am equally grateful to the state and national leaders of our great party for the privilege of taking part in the nomination process.”
“Consequent upon these developments, I hereby support the decision of the party, and declare my support to ensure the party wins at the forthcoming election.”
“My heartfelt thanks is to God and all my supporters across the Ogun State. Your patience, steadfast support and solid trust in me will not be taken for granted.” he said.
