Former President Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, former Vice President Yemi Osinbajo and former governor of Lagos State, Babatunde Fasola, SAN, are expected at a book presentation to honour the Founder of Crescent University, Abeokuta, late Prince Bola Ajibola.
Other personalities expected at the book presentation are business moguls, including the President of Dangote Group, Alhaji Aliko Dangote; President, BUA/ASR Group, Alhaji Abdul Samad Rabiu and Sir (Dr) Kensington Adebukola Adebutu, among other dignitaries.
The book titled, “Tribulations & Trophies … In His Own Words,” which is an autobiography and the chronicles of the life and times of late Ajibola, who was also Judge of the International Court of Justice and former Attorney General and Minister of Justice, will be publicly presented at Oriental Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos on April 10, 2025.
The Chairman of Bola Ajibola Book Presentation Committee, Prof. Ibraheem Gbajabiamila, in a release made available to newsmen at the weekend, said that Oriental Hotel will play host to top government functionaries, members of the diplomatic corps and captains of industry from different sectors, locally and internationally, particularly in Law and Education.
He said, “Judge Ajibola’s life’s work, etched in service and dedication, spans a commendable tenure as a jurist, public servant, diplomat, and an advocate for peace around the globe.
“Bola Ajibola stood as a beacon of vision, wisdom, sacrifice and integrity, a figure whose journey from the humble corridors of Owu Day School, Abeokuta to the grand halls of the International Court of Justice in The Hague is truly inspiring.”
The Chairman of the occasion is the former president of Nigeria, His Excellency, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo.
Former vice president, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo will deliver the keynote address; a special address to delivered by Mr Babatunde Raji Fashola, SAN, while Prof. Auwal Yadudu will present a book review.
