‘I’m bigger than everybody’ – Portable reacts to claims of Olamide, promoters blacklisting him

Controversial Nigerian singer, Habeeb Okikiola Badmus, popularly known as Portable, has reacted to claims that some top music industry figures in the country have blacklisted him.

Popular influencer, Tunde Perry recently sparked reactions after revealing that he attended a meeting where some top music executives allegedly blacklisted Portable for gross misconduct.

He claimed that Portable’s unruly actions in the industry did not just put him in the black book of top industry heads but affected the chances of up-and-coming artists being assisted by established artists and executives.

Perry further claimed that ace rapper and music executive Olamide is now skeptic about assisting up-and-coming artists due to his experience with Portable, who turned to his critic after he assisted him on his breakthrough track ‘Zazu.’

Reacting via a video broadcast, Portable blasted Tunde Perry, Olamide, and the music executives, who allegedly blacklisted him.

He boasted that he doesn’t need the support of any music executive to succeed in the music industry, adding that his fans are enough for him.

The Zazu crooner claimed that he is currently a bigger figure in the music industry than the promoters and artists, who allegedly blacklisted him.

Portable said, “I am bigger than them. Who are those who want to blacklist? I heard that Tunde Perry said Olamide and his circle of music executives called for me to be blacklisted. Are you guys, my fans or my God? Are you feeding me?

“I have my own fans. I am bigger than any f**king person. Anyone who wants to help you, won’t stress you. Don’t use the assistance you gave me in the past to stress me. Are you the only one who has ever assisted me?

“There are a lot of people who helped me without stressing me. Why would you say they shouldn’t play my songs again? Olamide, don’t mess with me. If you mess with me, I will return the energy. Stay on your own lane.”
