A leading Nigerian philanthropist and businessman, Chief Ibrahim Dende Egungbohun, has called on young people across the country to embrace focus and discipline as essential tools for achieving lasting success, using the remarkable achievement of Joshua Aiyenuro as a powerful example.
Chief Egungbohun, founder of IBD Impex Limited, made the remarks while hosting Aiyenuro at his residence in Abuja, in a moment marked by pride, inspiration, and renewed hope for Nigeria’s youth.
Welcoming the record holder, the Olu-Omo of Yewaland described the milestone as more than a personal victory, calling it a collective achievement that reflects the untapped potential of young Nigerians.
“I’m very happy for him and the entire team. This is a big moment, not just for him but for Nigerian youths as a whole,” he said, his voice filled with emotion. “It shows what is possible when determination meets opportunity”.
Aiyenuro’s feat, which has earned global recognition through the Guinness World Records, is already inspiring a new wave of ambition among young people eager to make their mark on the world stage.
Chief Egungbohun, who has been a strong supporter of youth development, reaffirmed his commitment to mentoring and supporting emerging talents. He noted that success is rarely accidental rather built on consistency, discipline, and a clear sense of purpose.
“He wants to do more, and I believe he will achieve it. I will continue to support him and monitor his progress,” he said, signaling a long-term commitment to nurturing excellence.
Delivering a heartfelt message to Nigerian youths, Chief Egungbohun stated further that the Nigerian teeming youth should learn to remain focused and intentional in their pursuits.
“My advice is simple: stay focused, know what you want, and trust in God. With discipline and faith, success will come,” he said.

Reflecting on broader societal challenges, he expressed concern that many young people often miss opportunities due to a lack of direction and commitment.
“Some youths are given opportunities, but they lose focus and end up wasting them. Focus is everything. When you are disciplined, the right people and opportunities will find you,” Chief Egungbohun added.
Responding, Aiyenuro expressed deep gratitude for the recognition and support he has received, attributing his success to divine grace and perseverance.
“I’m grateful to God for this achievement and for the opportunity to go even further,” he said.
As Nigeria continues to seek pathways for youth empowerment and national development, stories like Aiyenuro’s stand as a reminder that with the right mindset and support, young people can achieve extraordinary feats and elevate the nation’s global image.
