Senate President Godswill Akpabio has directed senators to reconvene for an emergency plenary session on Tuesday, .
The directive came days after the Senate rejected a proposal seeking mandatory electronic transmission of election results.
Clerk of the Senate, Emmanuel Odo, said in a statement that all senators were requested to attend the sitting.
The emergency session is scheduled to begin at 12 noon.
