…says Atiku, Aregbesola ADC coalition won’t stand test of time

Seun Shotunde, Abeokuta

The Coalition of Registered Political Party Members (CORPAM) has unveiled the EMILOKAN agenda to support President Bola Tinubu’s re-election bid in 2027, stressing that the African Democratic Congress (ADC) coalition’s plans to unseat Tinubu are efforts in futility.

It criticized members, including former President Atiku Abubakar, Rotimi Amaechi, Rauf Aregbesola, and David Mark, as a “group of disgruntled politicians” united only in their quest to wrest power from President Bola Tinubu in 2027, insisting that they would fail.

CORPAM ‘s National Coordinator, Com. Olaposi Oginni, who called the coalition catastrophic and an attempt by its members to stay in power, accused Atiku, Amechi and Aregbesola and others of opposing progress to new Nigeria which Tinubu’s led government Renew Hope Agenda was trying to make dreams come true through with its economic policies.

Oginni, while unveiling the the agenda in Abeokuta, on Sunday evening in company of a three termed Commissioner in Ogun State, Engr. Ayo Olu; Mr. Kola Ogunleye, Legislative Aid to Speaker of House of Representative, Hon. Tajudeen Abass; Publicity Secretary of Julius Abure led faction of the LP, Com. Abayomi Arabambi, said that the initiative is opened for members of any political parties seeking the return of Tinubu bact to power in 2027.

The National Coordinator, who doubles as National Secretary of New Nigeria Peoples Party(NNPP) insisted that the launching of the agenda in the capital of Ogun State, was to re-invoke the spirit of EMILOKAN, as declared by Tinubu despite odds before his emergence as president in to 2023 presidential elections, was to raised spirit of Yoruba projenitor, Oduduwa and Egba ancestors to assist him in defeating his enemies at the poll again come 2027 elections.

He mentioned names of coordinators from Southwest including: Com. Adeoye Olalekan(Ekiti); Mrs Kemisola Fasua(Ondo); Rasheed Giwa(Lagos); Hon. Senami Wheto(Ogun) and Mrs. Juliana Ola Nike(Oyo) charging them to work and mobilize for people to support and vote for the president for second term in office.

Oginni said “It is a kind of individual conviction by different people across deferent political parties, across different professions that believe in the work of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the president of Federal Republic of Nigeria came on board on June 2, 2022 and after that historical declaration of EMILOKAN the spirit of our ancestors of Nigeria back up Bola Ahmed Tinubu to become the president of Federal Republic of Nigeria.”

“Things have gone bad before he came on board, and with all his efforts we can see that there is stabilization of our economy now and we can see a ray of hope that the new Nigeria of our dreams is in horizon, so therefore I want to say it loud and clear that without missing words, we need to give him additional four years to be able to propagate and make sure that Nigeria of our dreams comes into fusion.”

“These are people that are living fake life they have been in the shadows of leadership over the decades what else are they coming to offer that is different from what Bola Tinubu is offering Nigerians, these people are just coming out of ‘bad belle’ maybe out of vexations of not being in power all the time because they want to be in power all the time? Is Amechi the only Nigerians from Rivers State, is David Mark only Nigerians from Benue, is Aregbesola only Nigerians from Osun, is because they are not there then they won’t to pull down the roof, it is not acceptable and that is why we are coming out that this spirit of EMILOKAN must be re-invoked and then rejuvenate through out the country. And in every individual lives it teaches about self confidence I can do it spirit he said it is my turn even when the horizon is not clear, the point of it is that if you think it you cna have it, if you dream it you can have it and that is Tinubu for you in Nigeria.”

“It is not about whether you are NNPP, or PDP or LP or APGA, it is about personal conviction that is what we called it coalition of registered political party members when Wike took decisions to support Tinubu does it remove him from being a PDP members?”

“The ADC is already a failure, the coalition is a catastrophic at the take off is forty and I want to tell you that it is catastrophic, the ADC can’t make it because it is a conglomeration of people with ‘bad belle’, people who just want to ventilate their anger on a particular person not canvassing about ideas they are talking harant nonsense. Anybody that is a right thing Nigerians should support Tinubu on the kind of the work the president is doing concerning the economy and the monumental development that is going on.” he added.
