From Khalid Idris Doya, Bauchi

The Bauchi State Government has announced that preparations have been completed for the much-anticipated Bauchi State Investment and Economic Summit Roadshow, scheduled to hold at the prestigious NAF Conference Centre in Jahi, Abuja.

The landmark event is aims to showcase Bauchi State’s vast investment potentials, ongoing development strides, and economic opportunities to both local and international investors, development partners, financial institutions, and key industry stakeholders.

According to a statement issued by media aide to Bauchi state Governor, Mukhtar Gidado on Tuesday, the roadshow is a strategic move by state government under leadership of Bala Mohammed to unlocking and projecting the state’s untapped economic strengths in critical sectors such as agriculture, solid minerals, tourism, manufacturing, renewable energy, and infrastructure.

With the theme “Unveiling Bauchi: Unlocking Economic Potential Through Strategic Partnerships,” the summit roadshow is designed to build investor confidence, foster robust public-private partnerships, and position Bauchi as a leading investment destination in Nigeria’s North-East sub-region.

Gidado revealed that the the event will feature high-level presentations on sector-specific investment prospects, fireside chats and panel discussions with industry experts and policymakers. The roadshow will also unveil key projects and reforms geared toward enhancing the ease of doing business in the state.

He noted that top government officials, business leaders, representatives of international development agencies, and the media professionals are expected to attend the event.

“This roadshow is part of Bauchi State’s larger economic transformation agenda. It is aimed at attracting sustainable investments, creating jobs, boosting internally generated revenue, and improving the overall quality of life for citizens,” Gidado adddd.

As the eyes turn to Abuja, the Bauchi State Investment and Economic Summit Roadshow is poised to mark a bold step toward building a prosperous, industrialized, and economically vibrant Bauchi State.
