Management of the University of Ilorin, on Monday, announced the expulsion of a 100-level student for allegedly demanding a ransom from parents of a missing colleague. A weekly bulletin of the university, signed by its Director of Corporate Affairs, Kunle Akogun, disclosed this. The bulletin identified the student as Olanrewaju Abdulkabir Abdulkadri with matriculation number 22/52HL004 from the Department of Information Technology, Faculty of Communication and Information Sciences. Central Bank of Nigeria, on Monday, revoked the banking licence of Heritage Bank Plc. The revocation is with immediate effect, according to the CBN.
