A woman and her granddaughter were, on Friday, crushed to death by an Iveco truck in the Papalanto area of Ogun State. It was gathered that the truck with registration number KJA166 XJ had overtaken a tricycle with registration number TRE 627 VP conveying the woman and her granddaughter. Supreme Court, on Friday, dismissed the appeal of the Social Democratic Party candidate, Muritala Ajaka, in the Kogi State governorship election. The SDP gubernatorial candidate had challenged the result announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission after the November 11, 2023 election which produced Usman Ododo of the All Progressives Congress as the winner.
