As the 2027 general elections gather momentum, Ogun State Federal Commissioner Revenue Mobilisation Allocation and Fiscal Commission, Hon. Akeem Akintayo Amosun, has reaffirmed members of Amosun political movement’s commitment to total victory for all APC candidates in the forthcoming elections.

The grassroots political wizard assured his teeming incorruptible “kogbowokogbobi” die-hard supporters that no efforts will be spared in mobilising massive support for APC landslide success in the forthcoming general elections.

The enthusiastic crowd who thronged AK City at the Kemta residence of the young, dynamic innovative and resourceful stockbroker turned politician in their large numbers, in strict obedience to the game-changer’s clarion call for stakeholders’ meeting convened to map out strategies for a mother-of-all endorsement for Ogun gubernatorial hopeful, Ogun West Senator, Distinguished Senator Solomon Olamilekan, aka Yayi, erupted like a volcano, chanting party slogans and songs to demonstrate their unalloyed love and for the man of all seasons.

Why Yayi? Hon Akeem Amosun says the record of his unprecedented legislative representation, unmatched infrastructural renewal across Ogun West, employment generation and genuine philanthropic gestures symbolise what to expect if and when he emerges the number one citizen of the Gateway state.

Yayi, he affirmed is not solely banking on his popularity and general acceptability as he has been working assiduously, networking with everybody who is somebody in Ogun politics. He is not new to politicking, knows the game inside out. The illustrious son of Ogun, he stated further, surrounds himself with the “aworosasa” the geniuses in the media, the technocrats, seasoned and not so seasoned politicians and intellectuals .

Above all, Yayi is not and cannot be deceived to believe the gubernatorial contest is going to be a walk-over – reason he is giving the battle for Ogun 2027 governorship race his all.

He says his position as federal commissioner was a reward for supporting Dapo Abiodun and that he believes his team will not labour for nothing working towards the realisation of the Yayi for governor project.
