Senator representing Cross River North, Jarigbe Agom Jarigbe, on Tuesday, dumped the Peoples Democratic Party for the ruling All Progressives Congress.
Deputy Senate President, Barau Jibrin, who presided over the session, read Jarigbe’s letter of defection during Tuesday’s plenary.
With Jarigbe’s defection, the number of APC senators has now risen to 76.
