The Association of Nigerian Authors (ANA),Ogun State chapter will be partnering Crescent University, Abeokuta, on the latter’s 20th Anniversary, starting from June 5,2025.
The Proprietor of Crescent University, Prince Mahruf Adesegun Ajibola, SAN, announced this during a courtesy call on the institution’s management by ANA.
He revealed that ANA, led by its chairman , Dr Chris Omotosho, would be given a prominent role in the celebration which he described would “be a grand event throughout the year”.
Prince Adesegun Ajibola was in a meeting with the university management, including the Registrar, Barr. Zakariya Ajibola, Deputy Registrar, Establishment, Alhaji Hakeem Dawodu; Bursar, Alhaji Tirimisiyu Gbadebo Ogunmefun FCA;Chief Internal Auditor, Mr Kayode Yekeen, FCA and Head of Department of Mass Communication, Dr Kola Adesina when the Association visited.
In a related development, the Association of Nigerian Authors had earlier converged on Crescent University campus to celebrate “the postponed World Poetry Day” with poetic rendition and lectures delivered by Dr Kola Adesina, Elder Dada Olanipekun and Dr Lucky Aikabeli.
ANA was invited by Crescent Literari Village, a student association cutting across departments of the university.
