Aiyedatiwa Campaign Council accuses PDP of fake defection in Ondo

Amid orchestrated defection of persons to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ondo State, the main campaign council for Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa has described the defectors as jesters.

A statement issued by the Convener of Lucky Aiyedatiwa Campaign Organisation Foot Soldiers Independent Council (LACO-FSIC), Dr. Oladipupo Okeyomi, on Wednesday described those described as “decampees” as jesters and impostors.

The body alerted the public, saying, “Those who have been claiming that they have defected from the All Progressives Congress (APC) to the PDP are sheer deceivers, as they are bonafide members of the PDP, pretending to be APC members. “

Okeyomi, widely known as Carry Go, stated that the APC members in Ondo State were solidly behind Governor Aiyedatiwa and had no reason to defect.

“We kept laughing in the LACO-FSIC when we heard the names of certified PDP members claiming to be APC members, crossing to the PDP.

“It was simply stage-managed and apparently mismanaged,” the group stressed.

Okeyomi, for the LACO-FS, particularly tasked the PDP governorship candidate, Agboola Ajayi, to come up with his programmes for the people of Ondo State, “rather than hound around like a snake, for opposition members to destroy “.

“We have stated for the umpteenth time that we won’t join issues with anyone but keep showcasing the numerous achievements of Governor Aiyedatiwa in less than 10 months of assuming office.

“We are bemused that Agboola Ajayi and his party members are giving themselves the funny job of finding fault with Governor Aiyedatiwa, with nothing to espouse as they are overwhelmed by the governor’s long list of achievements,” Okeyomi stressed.

The LACO-FSIC, therefore, urged the PDP opposition party in Ondo State to “desist from the jungle of fake claims and come to the reality of progressive movement.”

Kayode Fasua,

State Director of Information,

LACO-FSIC.
