FULL LIST: Top 10 European clubs with highest transfer spending in 2026

Chelsea currently lead the list of clubs with the highest transfer spending in the 2026 summer transfer window, having spent €407.95 million on new players, according to Planet Football on Thursday.

Tottenham Hotspur are second with €354.7 million, while Arsenal occupy third place after spending €227.1 million.

Real Madrid rank fourth with €225 million, followed by Ipswich Town with €178.35 million.

Manchester United are sixth with €173.2 million, while AC Milan occupy seventh place with €160.85 million.

Juventus are eighth after spending €157.95 million, followed by Coventry City with €148.55 million.

Roma complete the top 10 with an expenditure of €123.5 million.

The full list revealed:

1. Chelsea


Expenditure: €407.95 million
Income: €218.1 million
Net spend: €189.85 million

2. Tottenham Hotspur


Expenditure: €354.7 million
Income: €165.55 million
Net spend: €189.15 million

3. Arsenal


Expenditure: €227.1 million
Income: €46.15 million
Net spend: €180.95 million

4. Real Madrid


Expenditure: €225 million
Income: €58.5 million
Net spend: €166.5 million

5. Ipswich Town


Expenditure: €178.35 million
Income: €19.36 million
Net spend: €158.99 million

6. Manchester United


Expenditure: €173.2 million
Income: €52.15 million
Net spend: €121.05 million

7. AC Milan


Expenditure: €160.85 million
Income: €47.5 million
Net spend: €113.35 million

8. Juventus


Expenditure: €157.95 million
Income: €24.4 million
Net spend: €133.55 million

9. Coventry City


Expenditure: €148.55 million
Income: €5.15 million
Net spend: €143.4 million

10. Roma


Expenditure: €123.5 million
Income: €14.3 million
Net spend: €109.2 million

Chelsea’s €407.95 million expenditure makes them the biggest spenders among the 10 clubs, while Tottenham are the only other side to have spent more than €350 million.

The figures could still change as clubs continue to make signings and sales before the closure of the 2026 summer transfer window.
