Jimi Lawal, former Special Adviser to ex-Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai, has been detained by the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission over an alleged fraudulent N11billion Light Rail Project.
It was gathered that Lawal is currently undergoing interrogation by ICPC officials at the commission’s headquarters in Abuja, according to SaharaReporters.
It has reportedly been alleged that there was no contract file for the supposed light rail project, which was allegedly fully paid for.
