The hunger protest in Kaduna turned violent as protesters in their large numbers set ablaze the Headquarters of Kaduna State Traffic Law Enforcement Agency.
The protest, which was earlier peaceful, turned violent as the protesters in their hundreds marched back to Ahmedu Bello Way from Kaduna Government House through Sokoto Road.
The protesters also looted property at the KASTLEA headquarters and private residences around the office.
The Overseeing Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, Mr. Samuel Aruwan confirmed the development.
