Israeli Ambassador to Nigeria, Michael Freeman, has advanced reasons Iran deserves the ongoing attacks from the United States and Israel.
Freeman, who spoke on Arise Television, said Iran had frequently threatened to destroy Israel, adding that there is a moral justification to stop them.
He said for 47 years, Iran had had a policy of death to Israel, death to America.
The Ambassador said, “Its entire apparatus and state structure have sponsored terrorism and organisations to kill Israelis, Jews, and spread terror.
“We’ve seen them develop missile programmes and a nuclear programme. This is a justified war to stop Iran from wiping Israel off the face of the earth.”
United States and its ally, Israel had launched an attack on the Islamic Republic on Saturday resulting in the death of its Supreme Leader and other notable government officials.
The onslaught has continued with several missile strikes by the United States and Israel on Iran.
