…we have no issues with his Ancestry
By Ajiroba Dapo Oke

The people of Ogun West have expressed their support and endorsement for Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola Yayi. His lineage is unquestionably established, and his original identity with us is supported by evidence. It is important to note that this is an election matter, not a mere discussion. If any individual has any concerns about his candidature, the relevant provisions of the law are available. . I have not come across any instance in our electoral process where individual or collective opinions of known opposition members have been utilised to disqualify a specific candidate outside the constitutional provisions.
We are not taken aback by the persistence of certain individuals who continue to conspire against the widely supported candidate of the collective choice of Ogun West people. That is their usual attitude whenever our sons are on the ballot for the number one position. Their primary concern is that we have successfully surmounted our usual obstacles to present a unified candidate without any discord against their belief and expectations. We are prepared to uphold his party’s mandate, irrespective of their accusations and to unite for his electoral victory in 2027. May God be with us.
This is not the first instance they have acted in such a manner. In 2015, this was also their strategy to truncate what seemed to be a promising opportunity to secure the governorship of the State under the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, when GNI was the candidate. The only ground of their actions why they had to oppose us was due to their personal animosity against late Senator Buruji Kashamu.

The same group of individuals are diligently working towards achieving their goals, much like they had in the past. Their baseless accusations and blackmail attempts against Yayi will not succeed. We stand steadfastly in support of his candidacy. The world will not come to an end, Solomon Olamilekan Adeola Yayi, an Ogun West representative, will be the Governor in 2027.
Nobody knew Moses was an Hebrew until he rose up to liberate his people.
