Famous media personality, Yeni Kuti, has clashed with a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, Segun Sowunmi, over his recent visit to President Bola Tinubu.
Recall that over the weekend, Sowunmi visited Tinubu at his Lagos residence.
Sowunmi, who is a former spokesman for Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of the PDP during the 2023 general elections, is a vocal critic of Tinubu.
His visit sparked diverse reactions and criticism on the internet.
But appearing on TVC’s Your View programme on Tuesday, Segun Sowunmi clashed with one of the hosts, Yeni Kuti after she asked him, “When are you moving to the APC?”.
Kuti said, “You’ve had a lot of criticism for the president, now your tune seems to have changed (after visit). So, when is your own move? When are you leaving the PDP to join APC?”
Sowunmi replied; “Although I cannot see who is asking those questions, I didn’t come to your programme so you can try to be cheeky with me, stop that”.
But Kuti responded, “I can’t be cheeky with you because I’m sure that I’m older than you.”
Sowunmi then reacted, ‘’Oh sister oo! My Aunty! I take that back. Please don’t be angry.”
Clapping back, the 64-year-old media personality said, “I’m not your aunty”.
