Four days after the ruling All Progressives Congress lost the Osun governorship election, President Bola Tinubu, on Tuesday, held a closed door meeting with Senate President Godswill Akpabio and Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Gboyega Oyetola.
Oyetola is also a former governor of Osun State.

Tinubu also later received the member representing Doguwa/Tudun Wada Federal Constituency of Kano State in the House of Representatives, Alhassan Ado Doguwa, at the Presidential Villa.
All the engagements were held behind closed-door.
The Information Minister, Mohammed Idris, was also at the Villa to confer with the President.
The agenda of the meetings with the President was not immediately known as the visitors did not speak with journalists.
Recall that on Saturday, the Accord Party governorship candidate and Osun State incumbent Governor, Ademola Adeleke defeated the APC candidate to secure a second term in office.
