Nigeria Premier Football League champions, Enugu Rangers, have taken a significant step towards global recognition by signing a partnership deal with Switzerland’s FC Schaffhausen.

This groundbreaking collaboration, facilitated by Bold Base, aims to build a legacy of excellence for generations to come, according to the club’s chairman Amobi Ezeaku.

A statement released on Thursday by Rangers media team, said that Rangers boss disclosed the development after the endorsement of documents at the Swiss club’s base, Schaffhausen, Thursday.

“We are proud to announce a groundbreaking collaboration between Rangers International FC and FC Schaffhausen of Switzerland, facilitated by Bold Base. Together we are building a legacy of excellence for generations to come,” stated the young club boss.

As the club continues to make strides in Nigerian football, this partnership is expected to open up new opportunities for growth, development, and international exposure. Rangers have a rich history, having been founded in 1970 and boasting an impressive record of six Nigerian league titles and three FA Cups.

Ezeaku also thanked the Governor of the State Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah for approving the execution of the cooperation agreement.

According to the statement, he emphasised that the collaboration would open doors for exchange of ideas, talents and transfer of knowledge that will give players, coaches and other staff opportunities to broaden their knowledge of the beautiful game of football between both clubs.

FC Schaffhausen that was founded on July 1, 1896 and prosecute its league matches in the 2nd tier Dieci Challenge League in Switzerland, will by this partnership, have the opportunity to sign talents from Nigeria while it’s a big stage on which the players can showcase themselves for European football.

With this new partnership, the club is poised to take its success to the next level and fans can expect exciting developments in the world of Nigerian football.
