…midwifes intervention programme in tourism as company organises 15 major tours of historical, man-made sites
Art enthusiast and 10th Anniversary Guest Speaker at the PR PRIMUS awards event, Prince Yemisi Shyllon, will tomorrow declare open the Yemisi Shyllon E-Library at the convocation ceremony of the Crescent University in Abeokuta, Ogun State. Guests have been advised to be sitted by 10 am.
In another development, an intervention programme in tourism through Grandeur Travels and Tours Ltd, is making its first maiden one and two days tourism tour of Abeokuta’s 15 major historical and man-made sites in December 2024.
In a release signed by Mr Akin Okudero, CEO, PR PRIMUS LTD, Shyllon, his company’s business manager and team are heading at concluding all logistics.
The planned project will minimize the risks associated with tourism in Nigeria.
It was further explained that the team will be concentrating on train trips to the first two destinations, with tourists then moving around the cities by buses. The train trip tours will be extended to Ibadan after one year of operation of the Abeokuta experiment with the intention to follow up in later times by air to Ado Ekiti and Calabar in Cross River State.
“We cannot continue to wail. We must take advantage of the opportunities offered in the failures of our governments to build legacies for ourselves,” Yemisi Shyllon concluded.
