…as Sept 11 Ecostay Apartments’ inauguration draws nearer

The management of Pelican Valley Nigeria Limited, on Monday, presented motorcycles to site engineers to enhance mobility, swift response to site demands and prompt project delivery in order to beat the September 11 inauguration date for the first 10 set of Ecostay Apartments.

Ecostay Apartments, an emerging Smart City where luxury meets nature to ensure healthy living and comfort, is domiciled at the Pelican Brief Estate located at Kobape – Masa corridor of Ogun State.

Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun is expected to grace the commissioning of the apartments on September 11 as Special Guest of Honour while former governor of the state, Aremo Olusegun Osoba beside other eminent Nigerians and stakeholders in the building industry, is also expected as the Father of the Day.

Logistics support to the engineers is part of the interventions to speed up the pace of work at the site and to ensure keeping faith with the auspicious September 11 date.

The presentation of the two motorcycles was performed on Monday, June 24 after the firm’s management meeting at the Pelican Brief Estate, Kobape.

While harping on the essence of the presentation, the CEO of the firm, Ambassador (Dr.) Babatunde Adeyemo said it has been a part of the organisation’s policy to meet customer’s needs and create enabling environment for workers to perform optimally towards achieving the policy objectives.

He said though the engineers have their personal cars, the motorcycle will afford them a faster access to every section of the Estate.

He urged them to be more diligent in their work, describing them as faithful staff of the organisation.

He also prayed to God to bless the firm to do more for the workers.

Adeyemo said, “It is just one of our core values. Customer’s satisfaction is very important to us, and apart from customer’s satisfaction, we also want our workers to work with ease and convenience on the job which is very important. We provide the two motorcycles to our Engineers to enhance mobility, though they have personal cars but for fuel economy, quick response to operational demands in and around the sites to achieve our target.

“We appeal to them to remain active on the job as it is one of our core values. The recipients are very loyal and honest workers. I pray to God to continue to bless this organization so we can do more than this for our dedicated staffers. I believe they deserve more than this. I know this is going to ease their movement and make the job stress- free.”

One of the beneficiaries, Engr. Kazeem Oladosu commended the Pelican Valley CEO for the gesture, describing it as not a surprise because of his welfarist disposition.

He said, “I want to show our appreciation to our boss, Dr. Babatunde Adeyemo for this kind gesture towards us. We didn’t ask for it, but in his magnanimity, he surprised us with this; for us to have an easy movement and have a stress – free work.

“We pray to Almighty God to continue uplift this organisation and replenish the pocket of our boss. And guide us not to deray from doing good and know our limitation in order not to trespass in whatever we do in this organization.”
