From Tom Garba, Yola

‎In a spectacular display of unity and massive public support, Ribadu Square in Yola overflowed with a mammoth crowd on Sunday as the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) formally affirmed Chief Dr. Maurice Vunobolki as its sole governorship candidate for the 2027 election in Adamawa State.

‎The electrifying rally signaled a strong wave of victory for the respected leader, with thousands of enthusiastic supporters chanting “It’s Maurice’s Time!” while waving banners and flags in a historic show of solidarity.

‎The unprecedented turnout turned Ribadu Square into a sea of people, filled to the brim from early morning. Supporters from all 21 local government areas of the state converged to endorse Dr. Vunobolki, making a powerful statement that the 2027 governorship ticket is already sealed in his favor.

‎Many described the gathering as a clear signal of impending victory, positioning Dr. Maurice Vunobolki as the undisputed choice to rescue and transform Adamawa.

‎Dr. Maurice Vunobolki, a distinguished leader, accomplished professional, and visionary statesman, received a thunderous affirmation from party leaders and delegates.

‎His emergence as the sole candidate has ignited fresh hope across the state. Known for his integrity, competence, and deep commitment to public service, Dr. Vunobolki is widely seen as the man Adamawa needs to occupy the Dougeri House come 2027.

‎Speaking passionately at the rally, enthusiastic supporters declared that the time for positive change has finally arrived.

‎“With the injustice and internal crisis happening in other parties, good people are flooding into the PDP to deliver Dr. Maurice Vunobolki,” said one prominent supporter who received a loud ovation. “This is not just a rally — this is a movement. Maurice is the bridge to a greater Adamawa.”

‎Another influential leader at the event confidently stated, “There is no doubt that Adamawa people are going to vote for Dr. Maurice Vunobolki massively in 2027. The crowd we are seeing today is just the beginning. He will defeat Ahmed Tijani Galadima of the APC and every other candidate in the race.”

‎The atmosphere at Ribadu Square was electric, as Dr. Vunobolki addressed the massive crowd, outlining his people-centered vision for the state. He pledged to prioritize youth empowerment, agricultural revolution, quality healthcare, quality education, infrastructure development, and accountable governance.

‎His message of inclusive leadership, transparency, and economic prosperity resonated deeply with the people, many of whom have grown tired of unfulfilled promises from previous administrations.

‎Dr. Vunobolki’s rich experience in both public and private sectors, coupled with his proven track record of service, has made him the preferred choice for many across party lines.

‎Supporters believe his leadership will bring the much-needed development and unity the state deserves. As one youth leader put it, “Dr. Maurice Vunobolki is not just a politician; he is a solution provider. His time has come to lead Adamawa to greatness.”

‎The massive turnout at the rally has sent shockwaves across the political landscape, leaving the opposition visibly worried.

‎Observers describe the event as a game-changer that has effectively repositioned the PDP as the dominant force in Adamawa politics ahead of 2027.

‎As the sun set on Ribadu Square, the message was loud and clear: Adamawa has spoken. The people have aligned behind Dr. Maurice Vunobolki, and the journey to Dougeri House has begun in earnest. With such overwhelming support and solidarity, victory in 2027 is not just possible — it is certain.

‎The PDP and Dr. Vunobolki’s campaign machinery have vowed to sustain this momentum through strategic mobilization, issue-based campaigns, and continuous engagement with the grassroots. For the people of Adamawa, a new dawn is on the horizon — and its name is Dr. Maurice Vunobolki
