Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has confirmed the arrest of Faisal Maina, son of former chairman of the defunct Pension Reform Task Team, Abdulrasheed Maina.
EFCC spokesperson, Dele Oyewale, disclosed this on Saturday morning to Premium Times.

According to Oyewale, a court order will be required to transfer Faisal to a correctional centre to serve his prison sentence.
“Confirmed. The necessary court order will be obtained to take him to the Correctional Centre for him to serve his sentence,” the EFCC spokesperson said.
Recall that Faisal, who had been on the run since 2020, was tracked by DSS operatives in Karsana, Abuja, where he was arrested.
Also recall that the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission had arraigned Faisal on a three-count charge of money laundering and conspiracy.
He later jumped bail and fled the country.
The court, however, continued his trial in absentia and sentenced him to 14 years in prison in 2021.
