…promises continuity of legacy projects for people’s benefits
Senator representing Ogun West Senatorial District, who also doubles as the governorship candidate of All Progressives Congress in Ogun State, Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, popularly called Yayi, has hailed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Dapo Abiodun for the over $7 billion investment deal and Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) for the proposed Gateway Deep Seaport and Ogun State Blue Marine Special Economic Zone signed in Paris, France with DP World MEA FZE.
The MOUs, when implemented, would transform the economic fortunes of Ogun State through increased capacity for marine trade as well as boost manufacturing and exports with expectation for the creation of over 50,000 jobs for Nigerians.

commended the vision, thinking and work behind the investment deals that promise to revolutionise the blue marine economy of Ogun State as well as ease the pressure on the Lagos ports, stressing that the Renewed Hope Agenda of the President on the economy is fully on course to deliver more dividends in the year ahead.
“I want to commend our President for always looking beyond the ordinary to initiate beneficial projects that will greatly impact positively on the future of our nation. Such projects under the Renewed Hope Agenda include the ongoing Lagos-Calabar Coastal Road, the Badagry- Sokoto Road, both of which transverse Ogun State and Now the proposed Gateway Seaport and Ogun State Blue Marine Special Economic Zone. And I salute our governor for providing the necessary condition for the latest economic investment for the state,” Senator Adeola stated.
While calling on the people of Ogun State to support the re-election of President Tinubu and all APC candidates for the continuation of the Renewed Hope Agenda, the APC governorship flagbearer promise to faithfully sustain the development strides of the incumbent administration in Ogun State as well as cooperate with the Federal Government in completion of mega projects for the benefit of the people when elected to govern in 2027.
“We look forward to harnessing all the advantages and resources of Ogun State for the benefit of our people from our unique position, as not only the gateway to Nigeria, but to a greater part of the West African subregion,” the Senator stated.
