The Zonal Vice Chairman of the New Nigeria Peoples Party, North West, Alhaji Sani Danmasani has revealed that Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso has started losing loyalists even in Kano State.
Danmasani said in a statement that majority of Kwankwaso’s supporters were fading off with the internal crisis in the party and contemplating opting out of the camp.
The statement said some key members of his camp have been expressing concern over the crisis and openly showing signs of disloyalty to the camp.
According to the statement, some of the Kwankwaso supporters were concerned with the state of affairs in the party, especially, regarding internal crisis with the founder of the party.
Danmasani said people ought to differentiate between a political movement of Kwankwasiyya and the NNPP, a political party duly registered by INEC.
He stressed that key supporters of the Kwankwasiyya movement have underdtood Kwankwaso’s fight to hijack NNPP could not go anywhere as the certificate of registration of NNPP is with the founder of the party.
The statement further said the founder of NNPP, Dr Aniebonam once said that Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso had never seen the original certificate of registration of NNPP, so it was just misleading for him to think of hijacking the party.
