Miami Beach has officially revoked singer Diddy’s Key to the City amid his ongoing legal battle.
The city took the decision to cut ties with the embattled American rapper following a series of charges and lawsuits filed against him.
Last week, during an in-person hearing, Miami Beach Mayor, Steven Meiner unanimously stripped Diddy of the honour.
This is coming nine years after Diddy was awarded the Key to the City.
Recall that Diddy was honoured with the ceremonial key in 2015, following his contributions to the music industry and his pivotal role in organizing the Revolt Music Conference held in Miami Beach.
Fifty four Diddy is currently facing Federal sex trafficking and racketeering charges.
